I am Todd Maxey, my son Walker and I are Blue Ridge Buyers, LLC. My love for building began at the age of 14 helping my grandfather build houses. As an adult, my focus shifted to helping others as my career in law enforcement began but building and real estate was still in my blood. In 2009 I obtained my real estate license and began selling homes on my day off. My goal of getting my real estate license was to eventually buy homes to renovate for resale. Finally, in 2013, I purchase a bank foreclosure, and my father and I flipped our first property. Thankfully Walker was right there with me in the beginning at the age of 15. From this property forward, there was always a renovation home being worked on.
We’re both real estate investors as well as licensed, reputable Roanoke valley real estate agents, so we work with homeowners to find the best solution to sell their Roanoke area home fast. Most importantly, we work with homeowners to discover all the options so they have informed choices.

When I retired from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office after a 25-year law enforcement career, I was finally able to double down on real estate. Since then, my days are filled with helping buyers and sellers as a REALTOR, investing in rental properties, and continuing to renovate homes to bring them back to life for new homeowners. The best part of what I do is working side by side with my son Walker daily.
